What to Expect
Dynasty Aviation is a premier flight school specializing in pilot training in the modern Light-Sport aircraft. As a growing company we are in need of a skilled aircraft technician to support our growth and keep our aircraft in top condition. We are passionate about aviation and committed to providing the highest standards of safety. With a focus on Rotax-powered Light Sport Aircraft, we offer a team-oriented environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are priorities.
- Aircraft inspection frequency is based on the time flown in a month. Typically on a “Once-a-month” rotation. Currently we have five aircrafts in the rotation.
- Regular repairs & maintenances will be on “Schedule based” (On call) nature. Except for long term projects.
- Tools are provided by Dynasty Aviation. However, personal tools are accepted once being evaluated.
Qualifications
- Legal working status in the U.S.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends, as required.
- Experienced working on Light Sport Aircraft and Rotax engine preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and precision.
- Physical capability to lift and handle aircraft parts, and flexibility to work in varied weather conditions and environments.
What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on Light Sport Aircraft, in line with FAA standards and company procedures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to engines, airframes, and avionics.
- Attention to details, and a commitment to safety.
- Conduct quality checks and ground runs on completed work to confirm aircraft safety and performance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with company safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other technicians to address complex technical issues and implement solutions.
- Immediately inform your supervisor of any safety concerns related to the aircraft to ensure swift action and resolution.
