It allows you to become a pilot of light sport aircraft with less time than the traditional private pilot course. This course includes

  • 15 hours training flight time
  • 5 hours solo flight time
  • 15 hours of personal ground lessons
  • Online ground school

You'll spend a lot of time on the ground learning about how airplanes fly, weather, navigation, and more.

After your instructor has determined that you're ready, you'll fly and land the plane by yourself.

Cross Country
Fly to other airports with an instructor and by yourself. You'll need a number of cross country and night hours.

Practical Test
Continue practicing and learning until you're ready to take your FAA exam. The practical test usually consists of a 1-2 hour oral portion and a 1-2 hour flight.
